ColorAudit ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. By using ColorAudit, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
ColorAudit does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following: • Photos or images you analyze — all image processing happens entirely on your device • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number) • Location data • Device identifiers or advertising IDs • Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers Your images never leave your device.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is saved in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) and never transmitted externally: • Daily scan count — to enforce the 2 scans/day free-tier limit (resets each day) • Saved contrast pairs — color combinations you bookmark in the Contrast screen • Onboarding status — whether you have completed the first-launch walkthrough This data remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
4. Device Permissions
ColorAudit requests only the permissions necessary to function: • Camera — used to capture photos for color analysis. Photos are processed locally and are not saved or transmitted. • Photo Library — used to let you select existing images for color extraction. Selected images are processed locally and not stored by the App. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings. Doing so will limit the corresponding features.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
ColorAudit uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — not by ColorAudit directly. RevenueCat receives anonymized purchase receipts to verify your subscription status. ColorAudit does not receive or store your payment card details. 6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party SDK: • RevenueCat (react-native-purchases) — subscription management No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are used. ColorAudit does not display ads.
7. Children's Privacy
ColorAudit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Data Security
Since ColorAudit does not transmit your data to external servers, your personal data and images are protected by your device's own security mechanisms (device encryption, passcode/biometrics). We recommend keeping your device software up to date to benefit from the latest security protections.
9. Your Rights
Because ColorAudit stores data only on your device, you have full control over it at all times: • Access — you can view locally stored data directly on your device • Deletion — uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data • Permissions — revoke camera or photo library access at any time in Settings If you have questions about your data or wish to exercise any rights, contact us at the address below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
