1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ColorAudit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of ColorAudit, whether using the free or Pro plan.
2. Description of the App
ColorAudit is a color analysis tool that allows you to: • Extract color palettes from photos taken with your camera or selected from your gallery • Inspect individual pixels and retrieve exact color values (HEX, RGB, HSL) • Check contrast ratios against WCAG accessibility standards • Simulate color blindness (Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia) • Export palettes as CSS variables, Tailwind config, or SwiftUI code (Pro) All image processing is performed locally on your device. ColorAudit does not upload your photos or images to any server.
3. Free Plan
The Free plan includes: • 2 image scans per day (resets at midnight, local device time) • Up to 2 colors extracted per image • Pixel color picker (HEX, RGB, HSL readout) The daily scan limit is enforced on-device using local storage. It resets automatically each calendar day.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
4.1 Pro Plans

Prices are in USD and may vary by region based on applicable taxes and App Store / Google Play pricing tiers.
4.2 Billing
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at purchase confirmation. • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. • Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused portions of the current period.
4.4 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App or use a new device, you can restore your active Pro subscription via the "Restore purchases" option in the paywall screen.
4.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective refund policies. ColorAudit does not process refunds directly.
5. Permissions

These permissions are used solely within the App for their stated purpose. You can revoke them at any time in your device Settings. Revoking permissions may limit App functionality.
6. Your Content
Photos and images you analyze remain entirely on your device. ColorAudit does not transmit, store, or access your images on any external server. Saved contrast pairs and scan history are stored locally using your device's secure local storage and are not shared.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to: • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App • Use the App for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to bypass the free-tier scan limit through manipulation of device storage or system time • Redistribute or resell access to the App or its Pro features
8. Intellectual Property
All content within ColorAudit — including but not limited to the source code, design, icons, and UI — is the property of the developer and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any App content.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that: • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free • Color extraction results will be perfectly accurate in all lighting conditions • Contrast ratio calculations, while based on the WCAG 2.1 standard, constitute professional accessibility advice
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or business decisions made based on color analysis results.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
